<description>Wow, what a fascinating site. Shame there is so little info on Rosaring? Thanks Christine for bringing this to our attention.
Here's something to explore regarding the mysterious use of labyrinth designs - NYU's Institute for the Study of the Ancient World (NYC) currently has an exhibit of objects from the &quot;Old Europe&quot; civilization (3000bc-5000bc) which predates Indo-Europeans. These folks existed before the Mesopot. and Egyptian civilizations. The artwork, crafts, pottery, etc. on display are stunning and very advanced. The reason I bring this up because one large pottery vessel had labyrinth designs on its surface.
