Episode 30 - Odin, a discussion with Joe Marek
In this episode of ravencast Dave and I get a chance to talk with Joe Marek of Gladsheim Kindred (http://www.gladsheim.org/). Joe is the Gothi of Gladsheim Kindred and a longstanding member of the Asatru community. Over the years Odin has held an ever increasing interest for him. We were delighted to get to have him share his insights with us and hope you will be as well!

Hi Dave & Sandi. I enjoyed this interview, thank you. 30 mins is pretty short for an Odin podcast but contained quality. Both Joe Marek & Kveldulf Gundarson mention of Edred’s work. Any chance of a podcast with Edred? The ECT sounds pretty cool, living in Australia, we don’t have anything like that. Once again, thanks - look forward for the next ‘cast. Daniel

It was shorter then most ‘casts, it just worked out that way. Glad you liked it.
Edred? One never knows…
No ECT? Then make one.
You are welcome.

Excellent podcast with Joe Marek. I would have liked more time spent talking about Odin but the quality of this podcast was very good. I enjoyed it a great deal as I do all of your podcasts. Many good points were made and the interview was very interesting. You did a great job Joe. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and feelings about Odin.

I’m so glad to hear someone else say that a God has called out to them. Several years ago I stated on a message board that I felt Tyr calling to me and was roundly criticized for it. That a God would lower him/herself to commune with a mere man. Now I feel vindicated. There are not any Asatrur around here that I know of, so theses podcasts are my only connection to the greater community. Thank you.
Thanks for a great show on Odin, can’t wait for next month. -silver city new mexico
