Episode 29 - Eir, a discussion with Cat Burke

Dave and I hope you all have had a very merry holiday season. With health and wellbeing in mind for the new year we interviewed Cat Burke regarding Eir. Cat had many insights gleaned from what few references to the lore there are in Svipdagsmal. We hope you find this interview as fun and informative as we did!

  1. Nice interview. But I’m a little bias. : )

  2. Cat’s awesome! :) Cool interview.

  3. It was great to see you cover Eir. As Cat Burke said there isn’t much information about her. Eir came to me when I learned of my father’s cancer. She is helping all of us fight his cancer.

  4. Great interview!

  5. I liked the interview, although I seemed to have some problems with the bitrate. It was nice to hear something about Eir, who is one of the lesser spoken of and written about Goddesses. She is probably one of those deities who could benefit greatly from some reconstruction by looking at neighbouring religions (mending Eir by bandaging with other religions if you will).

  6. Argh! It downloads correctly. It plays correctly from some computers. But, yes, you are correct. For reasons unknown playing from the site on some computers will play this file slow.

We had colds but were not underwater.

We from Ravencast apologize but can not seem to isolate the problem…
