Just had a question I had been hoping you could have mentioned before this show, but *shrug* I was a bit late. I was wondering if you either know if there was, or how to find out if there was, any Asatru meeting first week of August near Slippery Rock, PA?
Specifically I'm planning on being at Pennsic, and since ~80% of the SCA is one form of Pagan or another, and there are 12 000 at the event I was hoping there might be a good chance of atleast a group of Asatruar being there.
(On a side note, is there an email address listed on your site? I was trying to find one, but the only contact info I get requires me to create an account on podbean)

Thanks so much for bringing Dr. Meyers and his publications to our attention. What a wonderfully thoughtful discussion! It was a great interview and I have added his new book to my reading list.

And again as we said, this was something that really was something that we felt was not only useful to folks but Dr. Meyers is such a good speaker that we were compelled to put him on.

I expect we will return to our regularly scheduled Asatru programing. :)

Thanks guys. That was a great interview!
I will admit that I expected some 'overly-wiccipoo-fluffernutter-can't-possibly-reflect-heathenry' thing. Glad to see my fears were put completely to rest.
While his thoughts on virtue were good, I think the best thing I came away with was the idea of striving to ask The Questions, sharing your own opinions, and listening to the opinions of others. Ideas which sound obvious, but were explained in such a way that made an impression on me.
Again, nice show guys!

Good show guys. I like how he kept bringing up the whole modern role of the virtues. How to bring old proven ideas and adapt them to todays society.
